Bipasha Basu proudly says, I'm proud of myself
'I just realised my journey has been quiet a long one, from 1996 to 2011. It's only me who knows how much hard work and dedication has gone behind everything. I have been honest with my profession and brought the best of me on the screen,' said Bipasha.
Dressed in a formal white outfit with black beads and sequin work on it, she came for the the launch of Versace collection of watches in collaboration with Timex Group.
'I feel extremely lucky when I look behind in my life. I am proud of myself and also proud of what I am today. I used to dream of having such luxury brands and now I effortlessly own so many of them,' said the 32-year-old, who has a fetish for watches.
'The one object that I love the most is the watch. It is a must have possession for everybody. It is also my favourite gifting option.
'All the watches that (actor) John (Abraham) owns are gifted by me. Now I think his collection is set to have a Versace watch,' she said.

Bipasha Basu: There's no crises in her life!

But how true the reports of the split are remains to be seen as there has been no response from John yet. Bipasha, on the other hand, has used her Twitter page to clarify that there’s no crisis in her life as the media reports make out to be.
“We are just stories till we are famous, that's it. It’s Harsh reality but true. All is well in my life. Thank you all for being concerned,” Bipasha wrote on her page.
Before that she tweeted: “I can’t be answerable to media anymore about my personal life becoz no matter how open you are ,there is no respect ever..”
To be noted is the fact that Bipasha has not made it clear that she and John are still together. She’s just stated that all is well in her life, which could mean two things: first, she’s still with John; second, if she’s broken up, she’s moved on.

Bipasha Basu's topless stunt on Maxim magazine cover in trouble
Advocate Nisar Mohammed filled a complaint against Bipasha in the magistrate's court in Bhopal, alleging that her topless picture in the Maxim magazine is vulgar and obscene. The advocate said that he came across the picture when he purchased the latest issue of the magazine.
The case will be heard on February 15 by Chief Judicial Magistrate, R G Singh.

Bipasha game for steamy scenes with Josh Harnett
Not very long ago there was news about the dusky siren Bipasha basu bagging a Hollywood project, which will be directed by the Oscar-winning director Roland Joffe, she is working opposite Forty Days Forty Nights star Josh Harnett. It is heard that the sexy babe is all set to do a number of hot steamy scenes with her co-star too.
When asked Bips what she felt about it, she says she is on cloud nine these days! “This project is something new and exciting for me. Working with Roland and getting to star opposite a heartthrob like Josh Hartnett is like a dream come true,”tells Bipasha to a tabloid.
Since the movie is passionate love story about an Indian bodyguard and a British soldier set apart in two different time zones, she also has no qualms to get up close and personal with Josh Harnett as the script demands such scenes.
As per the damsel, if she can do steamy scenes (Jism) and kiss co-star Ranbir Kapoor (Bachna Aey Haseeno), who is not her beau, why would she panic to do such scenes in a Hollywood film.
‘I want to see Bipasha as a bride’: Rocky S
It is well known that designer Rocky S and the Bengali babe, Bipasha Basu have been friends for over a decade now. And guess what the designer’s dream is??? Well, he wants to dress up the Bengali beauty when she ties the knot.
“My focus at the moment is to see Bipasha married. I definitely know it is nowhere on the scene and there is a long way to go but the day she gets married, I want to dress her up for her big day. She is the woman whom I would want to dress up,” Rocky S told in an interview.
The designer showcased his bridal collection at AZA here Thursday.
His collection was inspired from Rajasthani and Turkish designs, and included lehengas, sarees, and churidar kurtas threaded with silk, jacquard, chiffon, georgette, soft satin and crepe.
“My collection focuses not only the brides but also the entire family for whom it is equally a gala affair to get dressed up for a special occasion. The bling in the dresses has been subdued and the colors have been choosen accordingly,” he added.
Other Bollywood actress present at the ocassion were, Ameesha Patel, model Yana Gupta and singer-actress Sophie Choudhary.

Bips ad creates flutters
Bips ad for lotto, has heated up the cyber world completely. The actor is topless in this ad. The ad also features Vivek Oberoi. Shot in India, the ad was directed by Ken Nahoum and art direction by illustrator Tommy Kane.
However, Bipasha’s manager confirmed that it is indeed her only who has been featured in this ad.
“Bipasha had done this ad in 1999 when she was with Ford Modelling Agency in New York. It was an international assignment and was meant for the international market. I don’t know why such an old ad has surfaced now,” said Bipasha’s manager.
In terms of Indian standards, the ad is very bold and will surely be rejected by the audiences.

‘Pankh’ will see Bipasha Basu in nine different looks
Priyanka Chopra received critical acclaims for her varied avatars in ‘Whats Your Rashee?”. Now, bong beauty Bipasha Basu is set to enthrall the audience with her nine different looks in forthcoming ‘Pankh’ produced by Sanjay Gupta’s White Feather Entertainment and directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay.
The story of ‘Pankh’ revolves around the life of a child actor who grows up thinking he’s a girl. The film is based on a true story of child actor Ashish Channa, who played a pivotal role in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Vastu Shashtra’. Ashish’s mother would often pass her off as a boy only to get her to work in smaller and bigger screen.
Talking about the movie, the director says, “I think Pankh is mainly an urban film. The theme that we have touched in this film identifies more with the sensibilities of the urban dwellers. May be in a few rural areas the film might be appealing. But, I have always maintained that this film touches upon a subject that is way different that you see in usual mainstream films.”

Bipasha Basu – the generation next new Bride
Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu sashayed on the ramp in a yellow and beige sari at the inaugural show of the Lakme Fashion Week here Friday for her close friend and designer Rocky S.
The actress, who is mostly seen in bright and happy colours was a bit apprehensive about wearing the dull hue but Rocky took her into confidence and the end result was worth the try, as Bipasha looked simple yet elegant in the light shade.
Rocky said that his collection is for today’s women who have great body and love to experiment with colours.
“It’s a traditional Indian line, mostly aimed at a younger crowd with softer designs. The colours are very soft. There are ivories, corals in the design, the cuts are softer, the fabrics are much cooler for the summer. There is very little embellishment but in the right place and at the right time,” explained Rocky.
The saris, dresses and kurta-churidars, made of fabrics like fabrics like chiffons, georgettes and net, were in various shades of beiges, ivory, pale yellow, peach, nude and blue.

While ladies at Filmfare Awards 2010 night were mostly seen in sarees and gowns, Genelia D’Souza wore a funky short Louis Vuitton dress which she paired with a black camisole. Bipasha Basu flaunted her oh-so-hot figure in a fishtail Gauri Nainika black colored gown and looked wow. Kangana Ranaut looked very somber wearing a white Dior gown and let her Dior gown do the talking without accessorizing herself much.
