Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor team up again: Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are the hottest pair in tinsel town. No doubt, they top the wishlist of producers making celluloid love stories.

Just a few days back we reported about Ranbir Kapoor being signed up to play a medieval warrior in the remake of the Telugu superhit Magadheera. Now, we hear that Katrina Kaif is billed to bag the role of the princess the warrior is sworn to protect.

In the original film, Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal wowed the fans with their sparkling chemistry. In the Hindi remake, to be produced by Madhu Mantena (producer of Ghajini), Ranbir and Katrina will recreate the eternal romance.

The film tells the story of a warrior who protects the princess of his kingdom, only to be killed and born again 400 years later to take his revenge. It’s essentially a love story between the warrior and the princess.

Given the subject, the director S S Rajamouli (director of Magadheera) and producer Mantena feel they need a couple who can bring out the passion on screen in the Hindi remake. Obviously, Ranbir and Katrina top their wishlist.

After all they do look good together, not just off the screen.

Ranbir Kapoor play as a medieval warrior!: If things go as planned, Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of a medieval warrior in the remake of a Telugu superhit Magadheera, a film based on reincarnation. So after Ranbir’s Rockstar look, be ready to watch him as a braveheart soldier.

No less than a treat for Ranbir’s fans it’s gonna be as the actor also likes to experiment. The Magadheera remake is going to be a big budget film. We hear that the director of the original S S Rajamouli has been retained for the film which is going to be made on a whopping Rs 90 crore.

When Ranbir heard the script he was thrilled because he always wanted to do a costume drama. Though the film is on the theme of reincarnation, it will also have a contemporary setting. The character demands a lean yet handsome boy with a calm persona and go-getter attitude. So, the debonair Ranbir is perfect for it.

Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena is going to produce the film, but an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.

Magadheera is about a warrior who protects the princess of his kingdom, only to be killed and born again 400 years later to take his revenge. The movie also won National Award for best special effects and best film in Telugu language.

Now, the talented actress will prepare for a very challenging role of a mentally-challenged heroine to the deaf-and-dumb Ranbir Kapoor.

And see who’s helping her out in preparing for the role? It’s Shahrukh Khan, her favourite co-star of Don and Don 2.

Priyanka plays a mentally challenged girl in Anurag Basu's thriller Barfee and she has to undergo training to prepare for the role. As Shahrukh effortlessly played a man with Asperger's Syndrome in My Name Is Khan, who else better than him to help her out!

Naturally, Priyanka is excited and tells a tabloid, “If the character comes out right I'll have a lot to thank him for. I consider SRK one of the finest actors in world. To be able to spend so much time with him both on and off camera is a blessing.”

Priyanka will train for almost a month for the role and has already begun visiting schools and institutions for the mentally challenged.

Kat is also annoyed with the recent reports of her blowing kisses to Ranbir at an award function where the latter was the playing the host on stage. She claims it was Imran Khan, who was also the host that night, not Ranbir on whom she showered her air kisses. Imran is also her co-star and she finds the boy funny.

Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif spotted sharing a kiss: Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are getting less and less cautious about their public display of affection.

In the latest on the duo, they were spotted sharing a kiss on board an international flight on Sunday from Frankfurt to Mumbai.

Reports say the two were seated side-by-side in the first class of the flight and after making sure that no one around was paying attention to them, they cosied up to each other and Ranbir even planted a kiss on her cheek. They held each other’s hands and Ranbir also called for some blankets.

However, the two did not doze off. Rather they were seen browsing through the pages of what looked like a number of scripts. They were seen animatedly discussing their parts and even mouthing a few dialogues.

Well, love is sharing work.

Ranbir Kapoor have no time to work with Deepika Padukone?: Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t seem to be very excited about the idea of working with his ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Worse, he may even be averse to the pairing.

We hear that director Ayan Mukherjee, who made Wake Up Sid with Ranbir, is penning the script of another film in which the leading lady’s character is that of a modern girl with traditional values. And Deepika seems to fit the bill perfectly. More than anything, Ayan has been desiring to direct Deepika.

The only hitch is that Ranbir isn’t interested in working with Deepika, and he made it clear to Ayan who is also his good friend. This comes as a surprise because after their break-up both Ranbir and Deepika had said that they were open to doing films together.

But Ranbir’s snub to Deepika may have been because he is still unhappy over her controversial remarks about him on Koffee With Karan. Ranbir’s dad Rishi Kapoor, for one, was surely upset with Deepika’s comments and had even expressed his displeasure.

Ayan Mukherjee is still working on the script and hasn’t begun the casting process yet.

Ranbir Kapoor with two girls in 'Rockstar': Director Imtiaz Ali wanted to keep the presence of Ranbir Kapoor’s second heroine in Rockstar under wraps, but the cat is prematurely out of the bag.

We all know of the sexy Nargis Fakhri, an American model of half Pakistani origin, playing the leading lady to Ranbir in Ali’s next film. But what none could suspect was that the film has another heroine. And that’s turned out to be Aditi Rao Hydari, who is currently the talk of the town for her steamy 22 kisses with co-star Arunoday Singh in the last week’s release Yeh Saali Zindagi.

In Rockstar, Aditi plays a journalist who narrates the story of the protagonist played by Ranbir. Her character is pivotal to the plot.

Aditi says she had auditioned for the leading lady’s part in the film but that was bagged by Nargis. However, she did clinch the second female lead and says she is happy with her role.

In the film, Ranbir’s character is reportedly modelled on the late singer, poet Jim Morrison of ‘The Doors’ from the 1960s and early 70s. The film has primarily been shot in Delhi and will release later this year.

The denial now seems to appearing more and more false as the two have been seen together around town romancing.

Last night after Karan Johar’s party at the Four Seasons, both Katrina and Ranbir left the venue together, Katrina’s car was then spotted parked at Ranbir’s house in Bandra, and there was no sign of Katrina leaving until late Wednesday morning.

After being spotted at many places together, from lounges to parties, one can now only hope, that the two come clean on their love affair very soon!

Party At Night: Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor seen together: Just days after they were spotted enjoying a car ride on the streets of Mumbai, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have now been seen partying together at night.

Something is definitely brewing between Ranbir and Katrina. For the otherwise extra cautious couple has been letting their guard down lately, as if to let the world know that they are indeed an item.

Earlier last week, Ranbir took Katrina for a ride in his posh Audi R8 on the roads of Juhu and zoomed away when onlookers tried to click them. But on Friday night, the duo was less wary about being seen together.

We hear that Ranbir and Katrina walked in around midnight at a suburban lounge in Juhu. They stayed for a good number of hours and were seen partying together. The duo was clearly having a good time, if the eye-witnesses are to go by.

A friend of Katrina is quoted as saying that she had gone to the lounge with the crew of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Ranbir was there partying with his friends. So they met coincidentally.

Well, if it was a coincidence, it was a pretty romantic one.

Ranbir Kapoor's world tour postponed

Ranbir Kapoor's world tour postponed: All the hullaballoo about Ranbir Kapoor setting off on a grand musical world tour with a bevy of Bollywood beauties, including Katrina Kaif, has come to a naught.

For the Kapoor laddie, slated to trot the globe in summer this year, has now postponed the tour to 2012 despite several marquee names like Katrina, Bipasha Basu and Malaika Arora in the troupe.

The reason for the postponement of the tour, we hear, is that Ranbir feels he still doesn’t have enough ammo in his repertory of songs.

What he wants is to include the songs of his upcoming film Rockstar, by Imtiaz Ali, in the concerts. But that can’t be possible before the film’s release.

Remember the electrifying on-stage performances Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal gave after the success of Rock On!? Ranbir, who plays a rockstar in Ali’s film, apparently wants to replicate the same magic, but for that he would have to wait until Rockstar hits the theatres later this year.

So, as things stand now, the much touted world tour of Ranbir has been postponed. It will happen in 2012.

What does Deepika want to gift Ranbir Kapoor?

Well, Deepika padiukone may look all cheerful, calm and composed externally. But in reality, she is actually fuming with anger with RK Junior.

Beat this. Sources say that recently, on a talk show with karan Johar, when she was asked what she would gift Ranbir, Deepika apparently replied, ‘a packet of condoms’. Ouch now that hurts real bad..

The next question that was asked to her was, if she had anything to say to Katrina Kaif (who is currently “good friends” with Ranbir) Deepika reportedly said,“I would like to see her passport.” .

Ranbir feels uncomfortable with mom Neetu

Despite director Prakash Jha’s continous persistance, Ranbir refused to share thesilver screen with his mother Neetu Kapoor in the film Raajneeti. Ranbir confessed that he is not very comfortable sharing the screen space with his mom.

Now, the role eventually is being enacted by the new 30-year old aspiring actress named Nikhila Tirkha.

Interestingly, Jha was quite keen to zero on someone who totally resembled Ranbir and so, Neetu was the obvious choice. But due to Ranbir’s unknown inhibitions, he had to change his mind and go for Nikhila.

Of late, Ranbir Kapoor’s personal life has been the most talked about by the media.

Grapevine was that chocolate boy Ranbir is back with Deepika Padukone after their break-up last year. He has also been linked to Katrina Kaif.

Ranbir is still single; and this was confirmed by the actor himself.

“All these link ups, gossips are of no value till the time you (an actor) prove your might. To be frank, I am not dating anyone,” Ranbir revealed.

According to him, the best way to respond to all the rumors link-up between him and his female co-stars is to keep quiet.

Ranbir Kapoor is Priyanka’s new fan!!

Looks like Ranbir Kapoor is completely smitten by Priyanka Chopra’s potential.

He is just done with the shoots of Anjaana Anjaani which will see him romancing Priyanka Chopra for the first time.

“Priyanka Chopra is phenomenal talent. If you work with her you will realize how hard she works and how much knowledge she has about performances and character. She is such a fine actor that she betters your work,” says Ranbir.

“I think for her it’s truth and honesty behind every performance that counts,” he adds.

Anjaana Anjaani should release towards the second half of this year. Ranbir now is looking forward to work with Priyanka again in Anurag Basu’s next. And quite natural he is all excited.

Audience is the king: Ranbir

Lover boy Ranbir Kapoor has always played the role of a sweet romantic hero in almost all his films and hence the tag lover boy has been linked to his name.

However he says he is here to act and would be willing to take up any job as long as he likes the character and the script.

When people pointed out about him playing a sober character in Prakash Jha’s ‘Raajneeti’, he decided to clear it out.

“I am not a lover boy. I am an actor. I have had just five releases so far and when I got the opportunity to work with Prakash Jha and such a great ensemble cast I felt lucky. Plus I loved the story of the film and hence I happy to be a part of the film,”

He adds saying,

“I think it is up to the audience to decide if this is the correct film for me or now,”

Well lover boy, only time will tell us whether serious roles suit you or not.
