Aamir doesn’t mind working with Shahrukh and Salman…

In Bollywood, jealousy is in the air. Actors may tend to ignore each other, they may not see each other eye to eye, but when it comes to serious business many tend to forget all differences.

Aamir Khan the perfectionist, who’s relationship with Shahruk is not very great, claims if he comes across a good script he wouldn’t mind working with SRK or Salman.

“ Why not? If there is a suitable script I would definitely work with both Shah Rukh and Salman. But at the end of the day it is the script that needs to be worked upon,”he says.

Aamir has already agreed to work with Salman in a remake of the hit film Andaz Apna Apna . But,the problem is that no one has come forward to work on the same.

I wonder when that day will come when we can watch all the three Khans together in a film… Hope to see that day soon…

Srk-Akhi share a light moment in mid-air

Who said two superstars can’t be friends??? All the rumours between Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar took a back seat when the two stars met up on a flight to London and bonded like thick buddies. They joked and laughed and later tweeted about their mid-air experience.

Akshay wrote: “I flew back to London to join my wife and son for our summer holidays and I met Shah Rukh Khan on my flight! It was nice to know Shah Rukh feels as grateful as I am for being a part of our industry and how lucky we are.”

Shahrukh, too, enjoyed bonding with Akshay. He tweeted: “I had Akshay Kumar for company on flight. Was wonderful to be with him after so long. Laughed for hours. We always do whenever we meet. Happiness to him.”

Shahrukh was flying to London to shoot for his home production Ra.One and also attend the premiere of Raavan.

“It’s amazing I managed to chat more with my work mates on a flight than I do in the entire year” he wrote.

Shahrukh replaced by Hrithik Roshan at IIFA 2010

Bollywod badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, has decide to skip the IIFA awards this year.

“I don’t think I will be able to come for IIFA…too much work here, will miss Colombo,”SRK tweeted.

SRK was supposed to be the star attraction at this year’s IIFA awards in Colombo from June 3-5, apart from this, SRK was also supposed to captain the Bollywood team in a friendly cricket match against the Sri Lankan team.

Sabbas Joseph of Wizcraft, the show’s organisers, said,

“Stars have their commitments. Hrithik Roshan will now be the captain. Even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and hubby Abhishek announced that they won’t be attending the gala”.

Amitabh Bachchan will only make a fleeting appearance.

I like Shahrukh Everywhere: Juhi

Vibrant and cheerful film actor Juhi Chawla loves being in superstar Shah Rukh Khan`s company as he gives her great joy. On being asked whether she prefers Shah Rukh as a friend, as a co-actor or as a business partner, Juhi flashed her mn- dollar smile and replied: `I like Shah Rukh everywhere! `He is a sharp person and great fun to be with. He is great in whatever he does and, yes, he is truly a joy.`

Juhi was here last week to launch the `Bhootnath` collection for Biba, a fashion retail outlet. Besides acting, it is her involvement in the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches that sets her pulse racing. Juhi, who is co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team along with Shah Rukh, said: `IPL is really exciting but it is also stressful for me.` Dressed in a simple kurti and pants with no accessories, Juhi spoke about her recently released film `Bhootnath`. The initial response to the film has not been good, but Juhi asserted that it was being appreciated the world over. `I am so happy that the film is being appreciated. I had a great time working with the child (Aman Siddiqui) and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) and it is a special film for me,` she said.

`Bhootnath` is a story based on the relationship of a child with his deceased grandfather, a kind ghost whom the child gradually befriends. Juhi and Shah Rukh play Aman`s parents in the film. Since the film was centred on Amitabh and Aman, didn`t she feel overshadowed?
`I have been asked about this many times but, frankly, I could neither have played the ghost nor the child! So there is nothing like being overshadowed in the film.

`I feel that as long as we play our given parts well, we are noticed and our work is also appreciated,` Juhi said. Talking about her future projects, Juhi said she was playing the role of a fortune-teller in Aziz Mirza`s `Kismet Konnection`. `It`s a small role but a very different one,` she said.

King Khan makes a dashing entry at IPL

Its only King Khan who can steal the limelight. Shah Rukh Khan made a dashing entry at the IPL. His wife Gauri Khan came with Suzzanne Roshan and as usual refrained from the camera’s as usual. Shilpa Shetty was also seen as she is one of the owners of IPL other than King Khan.

Shahrukh Khan Is No More Missed By Farah Khan

If our sources are to be believed, Farah Khan has a special appearance in Milap Zaveri’s Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai! in which she plays herself, and the film has a sequence in which she is shown to be yearning for her friend Shah Rukh Khan’s company and says, “I miss you Shah Rukh.”

The scene was shot almost a year ago when Farah and Shah Rukh were pretty thick, but things have changed now.

And considering that, Milap, who is very close to Farah and her brother Sajid, sensed Farah’s discomfiture and decided to delete the line. It was ironic that the scene, initially meant to be comic, became such a raw nerve. “Farah is extremely special to me and her cameo lights up my film.

I wouldn’t want to do anything to embarrass her,” confirmed Milap, who has co-written Hey Babyy as well as Housefull which were directed by Sajid Khan.

Believe it or not but a major Hollywood-Bollywood collaboration is right up in the anvil and two of the bigger superstars from different ends of the world are all set to share screen space. The film in question is Xtrme City and the men in question – hold your breath – Shah Rukh Khan and Leonardo Di Caprio.

Sources say, “The film is aiming for a late 2010 shoot in Mumbai, New York and the Persian Gulf. The makers are hoping for a 2011 release. As with many Bollywood films, Xtrme City will integrate thriller, drama and comedy elements. The movie will be family-friendly though there would certainly be elements of violence. However, sex will be downplayed, though there would be quintessential song and dance routines.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor welcomed American R&B singer-songwriter Akon in traditional style at the press conference of SRK’s sci-fi film, RA.1 in Mumbai.

International R&B singer Akon sang his popular number Smack That at a party hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, as it was the Bollywood superstar’s favourite song. Akon might lend his voice for a song in Shah Rukh’s upcoming sci-fi film RA.1.

“My kids love him, I love him. I want you all to give him the biggest welcome into the country that anyone has ever had,”
said Shah Rukh who danced with his favourite singer on the stage.

Neil tells Shahrukh to shut up at Filmfare Awards

The who and who of Bollywood was present at the 55th Filmfare Awards held at the Yash Raj studios. The noisy auditorium turned silent after Neil Nitin Mukesh told his seniors Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan to ‘shut up’.

Shahrukh pulled the final trigger by saying why he has three names and no surname. He went on to say that his surname is Khan and so too Saif’s but he has no last name. On being mentioned on his family, Neil got into a rage and toldShahrukh to restrain himself, as his father was in the audience. He didn’t stop there. He told Shahrukh to just ‘shut up’.

After the show, Katrina Kaif went up to Neil and told him to apologise to SRK and Bipasha Basu told him that the act was scary. The actor himself is yet to come out of the incident. The very thought of tellingShahrukh to shut up still shakes him. He said that he even broke eggs on the heads of Shahrukh and Saif at the end of the show.

Hold on guys, it was part of the show. Neil revealed that Shahrukh told him what he should do on the stage. He added that he was even asked to throw eggs at his co-hosts but he begged to at least spare him on that. He instead chose to break eggs on the heads after the show.

Well Neil, your recent act has proved that you have come a long way as far as acting is concerned.

Media friendly stars Kid’s!!

Gone are the days when Bollywood celeb’s kids were not media friendly. Some time back, Akshay Kumar’s son refused to be photographed at a function where he was honored, while Shah Rukh Khan’s kids were also seen hiding from camera lenses. But now state of affairs is totally changed. Recently, at various functions these kids who once refused to be photographed were super friendly with the media.

My Name Is Khan – So What?

After having watched the movie, I can only say Shah Rukh should change his line to My Name Is Khan And I “Khan” Act.

Let’s start from the beginning. The movie represented a mixed bag of themes. So many themes, so little time. There’s racialism, Asperger’s Syndrome, America’s Big Brother attitude, communalism and what not! Had the writer stuck to a single message, it would have made sense.

To narrate the story briefly Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh KKKhan) who is suffering from Asperger’s Syndrome leaves India and settles down in San Francisco with his younger brother (Jimmy Shergill) and sister-in-law (Sonya Jehan) Here he meets Mandira (Kajol) while selling herbal creams and instantly falls in love with her. They get married and everything is pinks and peacocks till the towers crash down. Their son, rather “her” son, gets killed for being a “muslim” and there’s trouble in paradise. Rizwan sets on a journey to meet the President of the USA just to tell him “My name is Khan and Iam not a terrorist”. All this in a span of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The only person worth the applause for this movie is , your guess is as good as mine, Shah Rukh Khan. With his performance as a person with autism spectrum disorder, he did full justice to the role. Of course, comparing him to Dustin Hoffman (in Rainman) is an exaggeration.
None the less, he has delivered a decent job. Kajol, a refined actor herself, was a waste in this movie. Not only did she go over-the- top but also failed to evoke any emotions in the audience. Even the Shah Rukh-Kajol chemistry was a total fizz out. The rest of the characters were equally mediocre.

The only saving grace of this much-hyped movie is its soothing music. Shanker-Ehsaan-Loy have indeed proved their mettle. The Sufi touch is surely a refreshing change from the usual fast tracks.

I was amused to see that it’s the same Karan Johar who gave us Kabhi Alvida Na Kehana. A very serious issue like extra marital relationship was dealt with great maturity. Whereas in MNIK, KJo has made a mockery of the whole situation. Like the scene of the Hurricane-hit Georgia was ridiculous to say the least. Or the hand shake with the “fake” President Obama leaves you in splits.

I am not saying that the movie doesn’t have its golden moments. It’s just that those moments are so few that you lose touch with them. If you really want to watch a serious movie on racialism go for Khuda Ke Liye. As for MNIK I would say Rizwan Khan could “repair almost anything” too bad he couldn’t repair his own movie script.

Big Pictures company owner Anil Ambani recently threw a big bash at Grand Hyatt to celebrate the success of his corporate production house. King Khan of Bollywood SRK walked in at the bash with buddy Karan Johar and was later seen interacting with legendary actress Rekha who draped herself in a velvet saree.

Bollywood’s real life couples Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan and Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan attended the Filmfare Awards 2010 night together.

Shah Rukh Khan wore a black crisp suit and Gauri wore a red colored gown, SRK wore red glassed to be in sync with wifey Gauri.

Hrithik Roshan also went the traditional way by donning black and Suzanne looked lovely in a pastel shade gown.

Actress Minissha Lamba as soon as she saw hosts of the evening SRK and Saif, she tweeted, “Show just started. SRK wearing red glasses that I love on him soooo much. Saif looking so dapper.. Mistook him for an Italian backstage!!”

At the awards SRK described Karan as sexy and gorgeous, to which he replied, “With a beautiful ladies like Gauri and Kareena, I am sure SRK and Saif are not getting time to look at other girls and so they are noticing me.’

SRK who is the host of the night talked about his gags and said, “This time we will be poking fun at ourselves rather than the others.”

SRK receives NDTV icon of the year award

SRK was awarded with Icon of the Year award at the recently held NDTV Indian of the Year awards, Aishwarya Rai also won the same award in Female category.

SRK was given away the award by Home minister P Chidambaram, who remarked, “I would love to watch SRK-starrer My Name is Khan…I am waiting for the English subtitles…It was great the way Khan brought out Mumbai’s solidarity…The attack on the movie (by Shiv Sena) was not an attack on the film, it was an attack on the idea of India.”

Karan Johar who is very active on social networking site Twitter, received the Social Networking Icon of the Year award.
